Meet Our Leaders
Matthew Bourassa
Vice President, Retail Management
Matt is responsible for all aspects for property management for our retail clients. He is focused on maintaining extremely high operating standards, clean and safe environments, promoting a collaborative and positive culture, and ensuring the goals of property owners is not only achieved but exceeded!
Matt Joined Encore Capital Management in 2021. Prior to joining the team, and overseeing property management initiatives, he spent 20+ years in various and diverse roles in retail and retail property management. He’s lead management teams at some of the nations most complex and high-volume retail and mixed-use centers, such as Copley Place / The Offices at Copley Place in Boston, MA, where collaboration with City officials, neighboring properties and convention center was key to a long stretch of growth.
Most recently, Matt was the Regional Vice President of Operations for Simon Property Group. In his role, Matt was responsible for all day to day operations of 27 property management teams, and more than 30 million square feet, in which he also responsible for all financial reporting, capital planning, personnel development, guest satisfaction and spearheaded numerous corporate initiatives and committees. Over the years, Matt has developed a reputation for never accepting the status quo and always thinking outside the box in a unique and entrepreneurial way to find creative and effective solutions.
His strong operational experience, coupled with a marketing background, make him a unique leader within the industry. His creativity, persistence and attention to detail made him a valued asset to every team he’s been a part of and is excited to bring that same energy to FA Retail to help our clients grow!
Elizabeth Lanceleve
Controller
Elizabeth oversees the accounting functions of the retail properties to ensure accurate and compliant reporting. The direct communication between our accounting and operations teams is vital to the proper recording and analysis for our clients.
FA Retail welcomed Elizabeth in 2022 based on her extensive industry knowledge in asset management, including retail, multifamily and commercial operations. With experience ranging over 20+ years, Elizabeth emanates the “whatever it takes approach” to surpass expectations and achieve extraordinary results.
Elizabeth’s portfolio includes full-cycle accounting, corporate finance including GAAP reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial modeling and valuation, financial data analysis, business Intelligence, capital markets and securities, commercial banking and treasury management, month end close, acquisitions and consolidations, internal control development, implementation, and team management.
Prior to joining FA Retail, Elizabeth worked in corporate finance with the last 10 years based in Real Estate development, property management, and Radiopharmaceuticals. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Curry College, MA and actively pursuing multiple certifications from Corporate Finance Institute.
